93 Ford coolant problems

Hey, just got a 93 f150 straight 6 last year with the intention to fix it up, I gave it a whole new front end, fuel pump, water pump and a thousand other things but now it's been leaking coolant slowly and overheating and has shut off once while driving. I haven't let it overheat all the way but I'm worried it might be something big. Any idea on what it may be?

You really have to find the source of the leak first, like oldandy said.  Check the spark plugs to see if any are wet.  Is there a puddle under the vehicle?  Did you properly burp the cooling system to get all the air out? Did you install a new thermostat?  Lots of questions here that need to be answered before throwing parts at the problem.

Have you pinpointed the source of the leak?

Checked for blown head gasket?

Possibly leaking/cracked radiator, a bad gasket on the water pump, or the O-ring from the thermostat. The worst thing it could be is, yes a blown head gasket.
