Hi Scotty!
I have a new to me 1994 chevy truck (5.7 TBI) with 107k miles. It failed the smog test for HC and CO. It does smell a bit rich. Starts and runs fine, no smoke.
I did some digging and found that the temperature sensor may cause it to run rich. Is there a good (and easy way) to test out the sensor? I ordered a new one just in case.
Love the show! Thanks!
Bill

Not sure about testing that sensor but I do know high hc and co usually will mean vacuum leak somewhere... at least from my experience.

Thanks for the fast response! I will look/test for a vacuum leak. I should also note that there are no error codes (OBD1).
