Hi, I have a 1997 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 pickup with a 5.7 V8. The distributor cap and rotor contacts keep corroding. This has been an ongoing issue over the years. I am getting ready to replace them again and was wondering if you have any solution for preventing moisture from getting into the system? Thanks!

Always read the TSB's for your vehicle.
I believe there is one for these distributors. The vent screens get plugged with debris or something like that. Result is they trap moisture inside. Solution is to remove the screen.
