Hi Scotty I have a 1997 Toyota RAV 4 2.0 Liter 211,000 miles that constantly throws a "Cylinder 1 Mis-fire" code. I have changed plugs,wires,cap and all internal parts. Also cleaned injectors and MAF. Last year the converter and sensors were replaced due to another problem. I clear the code,drive for a day or two,and the code returns. What am I missing? I have been a back yard mechanic for 30 years and this is driving me crazy.

Have you done the compression test for cylinder 1?
