Hi I have a 99 Ford ranger XLT limited edition with two issues going on that my daughter has been driving for the last 2 months and had not told me that the shifter was loose she called me when she could not get it to park and I told her bring it straight to me home it will not shift into park from reverse I have it sitting in neutral with the parking brake on this is an issue I have dealt loose shifter before the second problem it's always started in neutral with the key it won't start now is this just a loose bolt in the steering column with the gear shift or is it something else on top of the loose gear shift that I need to worry about
