Hi Scotty I have a2005 Chevy suburban 120,000 miles the a/c comes out the defroster not the dash vents. Can you give me some advice. Thank you. Johnny Mack

Check the blend door actuators

If not the blend door actuators, then it is most likely the control assembly.
Seems to me that there was a relearn procedure for the heater/ac system. Maybe someone here can explain the procedure. I think it was something like, remove the battery cables and touch them together for a minute then reconnect them, then turn the key on but don't start the engine and just let it do it's thing for a solid minute. I could be wrong, but it's worth a try.
