Hi Scotty, I have a 2008 Lexus Rx 350 Touring model. Milage is about 230,000 km. My issue is the a/c compressor pully, it is starting to go and getting louder every time I start the car. I have taken the car to my shop and they quoted me just under $1000.00 to replace it. Apparently half of the front end has to be removed to get at the pully and A/C bracket. I have done some research and I don't understand why the whole bracket has to be replaced just to change out a pully. Is not possible to get at the pully from the passenger front wheel and remove and replace the pully leaving the bracket? It would make the repair cost almost $700 less. Please let me know?
Thanks

Yes somebody's willing try. You can take the pulley off on the car. You just need special tools that will fit in there that you can tighten it all up and pop it off
