[Solved] A/C problem: Cold air in front vents, hot air in back seat vents

I have a weird problem with my vehicle.

Vehicle information: 2022 Ford Edge TITANIUM 4 Door 8 Speed Automatic AWD 51,000 miles 2.0 Ecoboost

Yesterday, when driving my vehicle, I noticed that the air conditioning to the drivers seat was iced cold and the air coming out of the vents in the back seat was hot even though the AC was in Sync mode.

I checked the coolant expansion reservoir and it is above the minimum line. The coolant was changed at 38,000 miles (12000 miles ago) or six months ago from the time of this post.

There is no visible leaks from the engine bay.

Any ideas?

Any ideas?

Since you have a warranty the best idea is to let the dealer figure it out and fix it.

Any ideas?

If not covered by a warranty, you could check the connector under the passengers side seat for a burnt pin. (known issue) also might try https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/sync/troubleshooting/how-do-i-reset-the-sync-system/ .

Do you still have warranty coverage?

@imperator yes I do I have a power train warranty thru 60,000 miles and then a extended warranty from Ford through 100,000 miles
