I'm in need of an a/c recharge on my 07 Grand Marquis? Would you suggest getting done at the dealer with a machine which measures how much freon or can I do it with an aftermarket with the cannister kit with a pressure gauge? If it ends up being the latter, do they come with oil in it for lubrication? Thanks

How do you know that? If that is the case you may have a leak that needs to be repaired.

Not a dealer, but an independent mechanic. Dealers are the most expensive option and likely to rip you off.

If you want to risk destroying your AC system. Those "recharge cans" only have a low side gauge and usually contain potentially damaging sealers.
