Hey Scotty, I've got an 05 Silverado 1500 v6. A/C Only works on settings 1 and 2, everyone recommended replacing the Resistor under the glove box, I did that but all fan speeds worked for maybe 3 weeks and it went back to only working on settings 1 and 2. Any ideas for a permanent fix?

Replace the blower. It's wearing out, drawing too much current and burning out the resistor.

second video is how to test to verify your blower motor is going out. I just did one of these. Test was easy and replacement was easy.
