2000 Chevrolet 1500 with 5.3, 210000 miles, long tube headers (no cats), cold air intake, EGR deleted, used HP tuner to get rid of EGR spark table and all codes that have to do with EGR, also got rid of lower O2 sensors in ecm. keeps wanting to die when I come to a stop, but if I just tap the throttle it will come back then idle just fine. I have codes for both upper o2 sensors showing low voltage at them but that's the only codes. Should I check fuel pressure for when I let off throttle? Cleaned iac and throttle body, new plugs and wires no misfires. Need to know where else to look? I can read ECM in real time as well what should I look at when it tries to die?
Well you definitely want to look at the fuel trims when the engine dies. Also look at the fuel injector firing time. But realize once you deleted all that other stuff the computer will often get confused. Especially if you remove the cats and also remove the rear oxygen sensors which would no longer be giving information which would confuse the computer
