Hey Scotty, I got into an accident and currently waiting on the insurance money to get a new car. I’m curious as to the following cars and feedback
1986 Honda CRX (178k miles 5spd $2000)
1988 Honda Accord (LXi)(223k miles, auto $1700)
And I’m looking at used cheap interceptors since I can get them for cheap with all the records (2014 Taurus SHO Police 125k miles $5500), 2008 Crown Victoria Interceptor (12k, yes 12,000 miles for $3200)
what’s your opinion on those options?
I would go Crown Vic if it doesn't have a lot of idle hours on it. I'm hesitant to go buy a car from the 80's, no matter how well built. Whatever you do, RUN from the SHO. The EcoBoost motors do not hold up well to rough environments and do not go the mileage that the V8 Crown Vics will.
