What the difference between the AC PF48 and the PF48E ??
I'm having a hard to time finding the PF48, is there a difference ?

'E' stands for Eco.
The support mesh for the filter element is made of recyclable plastic. That's the only difference.
Consequently, I would NOT use AC Delco filters. Filtration performance is quite poor. Almost any aftermarket filter is better than ACDelco, but try to look for Purolator, Wix, Mann, Fram XG and NAPA
AC Delco air filters are OK, but Wix and NAPA are better.
