Hi Scotty-
I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 5.7l flex fuel truck. Bought used with 90,000 miles on it. It runs great. The only issue is that the AC blower fan randomly stops working a few times a year. It seems that sometimes when this happens, if I put the vent to fresh air and drive with the windows down it will start working again after a few minutes of driving. Otherwise, it just randomly comes back on after a couple days.
Any idea as to what I should do
Hummmm I’m definitely not a certified mechanic but I have a coolant temperature sensor that went bad on me and because of that my fan stays on full time now no matter what occasionally it will turn off(like 3 time in 4 years) but it won’t stay off for long kinda sounds like your truck is doing the same just food for thought!? The sensors aren’t to expensive and it’s a Toyota so you can most likely can get to it yourself might be worth a shot in the dark? Or maybe your fan motor is going out or the wiring has a break in it ?!
