For cold air, does the blend door need to be in the down position or up position?
I have a 2013 F-150 that the plastic/rubber part that moves the ac blend door up and down that broke and fell into blower motor. Took blower motor out to take out broken piece but now my ac doesn’t blow cold air.

You can check a repair manual, or just try moving the door experimentally and to see when cold air comes out.
Hopefully you didn't puncture the evaporator while rooting around in there.
