Scotty, I drive a 2015 Chevy Silverado LT. 5.3 V8 with AFM, 109,000 Miles. I believe the issue I'm having is with the AC. My truck will be driving fine, then suddenly die, usually as I'm making a turn. The steering wheel starts to feel like the power steering is gone, and everything just shuts off. After a few seconds to a minute the truck resets itself, starts up and runs fine. This has happened a handful of times, with the last time having to be towed because it wouldn't reboot. The only common denominator I can find is the AC. I don't have the issue in winter while using the heat, but 2 days of driving 40 minutes home from work with the AC on and it did it again. Haven't used the AC since, and have had no issues. Had a dealership run a diagnostic test and they found nothing. No codes are showing so there's no help with that. Any ideas would be appreciated.
maybe the AC clutch is going out and drawing too much power. I would also clean up the engine ground strap.
