If you smell Freon, you have a leak in your system. Inconsistency in air temperate could be due to blend door actuator issues.

@yaser
Thank you will move in that direction. Dealership said that this ac system is the old version. Simple ? Being that this is old system will those blend door actuators be operated by vacuum

Sound more complex than just electronic message ones.

The temperature blend door is electric. The vent selector doors are vacuum actuated.

do you still smell freon?

Since the dealership worked on it, I would go back there and demonstrate the problem. They are responsible for making it right. Still under warranty right?

@mountainmanjoe
Thank you very much No smell of Freon have 2 year warranty on work they did. But out of warranty otherwise. Is it easy to change the temperature blend door? Also how can I diagnose it. Could they have charged the system wrong?
Your comments are appreciated very much
Thank you

not very easy but hopefully you don't need to replace completely. remove kick panels by passenger's feet to see the assemly, operate the dials and observe.

The smell of Freon may be a false lead (the smell comes from the oil in the freon, not the freon itself). Your symptoms could be caused by over charging the system. This will cause the evaporator to run too cold and freeze up in locations with high humidity (ie. most of the south). The evaporator literally turns into a block of ice and air flow is restricted, dramatically  reducing its ability to chill the air. When the AC cycles off and the ice melts, the unit will work great until it freezes up again.  The fix? Take it to a good AC shop and have them empty the system, test it for leaks, and recharge with the exact amount of freon specified.

@warpfactor999
