I own an automatic 1993 Toyota Corolla with 250,000 miles, the cars been driving normally and suddenly the acceleration goes blank and goes back to normal within a second or two. This has happened 3 times now if anyone has an idea of what it could be.

How old are your air and fuel filters? (Hopefully not 30 years old!) Check fuel pressure, check for clogged fuel injectors, clean your throttle body, check MAP sensor.
Recently replaced fuel filter and the air filter didn't seem too dirty, but they're cheap so I might as well change it too. I'll make sure to check out the other things you listed.
