Scotty: my parents were in a very bad accident in November. To help them out while they continue in rehab, I’ve been looking for a replacement vehicle for someone who will likely be using a walker for a long time. Three sites have vehicle recommendations that include Kia, Hyundai, Audi, Honda, and Subaru. Now, dad is a GM retiree and my brother in law is a Chrysler retiree. What set of vehicles would you recommend with high door openings and not Kia, Hyundai, or Audi? Any that you would recommend from us manufactures? Have you done any research for persons in this situation?
This toy van is highest standard of any that I can see insofar as taking care of limited mobilty.

Thank you Dion - great option. My parent exited the hospital this week and are in home rehab for a while. At this point, dad will be driving again within the next 6 months. Mom likely about 10 months. Looking for vehicles they can drive.
Toyota
I would stay away from the GM Chysler Audi Kia Hyundai vehicles because they just fall apart you want something reliable so Toyota or Honda maybe even Mazda.
in this case, that may may not be the priority
A Toyota Sienna would work well. They will last you a very long time. Maybe a Honda too. I hope your parents get better soon!
