It all comes down to what you need the scanner to do for you. Actron is a decent brand, and that scanner is a very basic one (retailing for $45), just reading and erasing DTC codes and providing emissions monitor readiness. It won’t read live data, nor scan all the modules on your vehicle, or provide any services useful to a DIYer. Is this good for your purposes?
