Should I replace my ECM

Hi Scotty. I have an Acura TSX, 2.4, 2006. My mechanic tells me the the ECM is not communicating. There is some rust on the unit. According to the dealer, there are no recalls on this unit, as it was done a while ago. Can I get a second hand ECM, but according to my mechanic we will have trouble with the key RF. I dont really want to junk the car but if I have to I will.

It's really difficult to offer sound advice without knowing the car's mileage and general/overall condition.

Go to an LKQ Pick your part. There's no avoiding having to go to a mechanic in order to fix the keyless entry. They have a 90-day guarantee on all of their parts.

Did you buy a flood vehicle and not know it? Honda makes Acura and there's really no reason an ECM would rust.
