Hi Scotty, I appreciate all the great information and entertainment you've given us.
I recently saw your review of the Acura RL and I'm interested in one of the "2nd generation" models, perhaps a 2007 model I've spotted.
I watched another youtube vid where someone pointed out that these models use drivetrain parts that are unique to the RL models, especially of course in the AWD portion of the chassis. He commented that since the RL was never too popular, some of those parts are becoming less available than they would be for other Honda/Acura models.
Would you see drivetrain parts availability as a problem over the next few years?
Thanks Scotty for your time and attention.
Stay well!
btw, I had a Civic in 1977, first car I ever bought new.
I wrecked it in 6 months and wanted another Honda, but they were becoming popular by then and there was a waiting-list. I've never had another Honda since.
I made the comment to a couple of guys back then that I believed Honda would soon become one of the most popular cars in the U.S... Guys laughed at me and called me every kind of a fool.
Thank you sir!
Take care, and live free.
Well maybe some rare specific parts but most of the parts are pretty much same as Honda as an Acura I wouldn't particularly worry
