Hi guys

Some of the rubbers at the windshield tend to be apart and not sticking to the windshield. What do you recommend me to use (type of adhesive) to have them come together?  Also does this work on rubber and metal (hood) of the car too?  Thank you

which rubber? Can you upload a photo?

The polyurethane adhesive that used to mount most windshields is neither silicone, nor rubber.

(silicon is a semi-metal used to make microchips).

Thank you for your help.

The rubber pieces shown in your photos are only cosmetic. They're there to make the car look pretty. They don't serve any other function. You cut them off if you like, or you can replace them. Any attempt to repair will not last.
