so I'm looking for any advice I can get. So I'm In a little but if a pickle right now I owe one of family mates money for a car that I wrecked and the services I had done but I have myself a car a 2005 Mercury grand marquis, not gonna lie my cars really beat up like dented from somebody scrapping a pole on the doors but they still all close a 100% just really dented and faded paint but anyway let me back on track. The car I bought was 700 and it drove but it has a bad transmission and I was just planning on getting a used one but I haven't gotten the money to get it yet and the transmission has gotten worse and other than a couple small things that don't effect how the car runs and are cheap fixes there is zero problems with the engine in fact my mechanic said the engine is perfect and everybody else who's seen it former mechanics and people who know somewhat about cars have said the same. So here's the issue I face it's struggle to stay in 30-40 mph range it's lacking and I told my parents who have a extra car a 2006 Ford Escape with 176,000 I don't know if there's any mechanic problems because it's never been taken into a shop but it runs better than my car. So here's the issue they want me to buy the car but give them $400 monthly plus and I owe other bills and insurance and gas which is about $600 itself and I make $1,100 every two weeks which I'm about to make more soon. Anyway what I should I do should I fix my Mercury the car I like more and save the $400 and try to rent the Ford and be able to still pay my other family off so I don't have that on my shoulders. Or should I buy the Ford maintain it and even though it's not my fav not worry about a car for awhile
If I were you, I would hire a certified financial advisor.
Agree with Doc. You need someone to help you with financial advice/planning. You have yourself in a hole.
Indeed. This is quite a web to untangle.
