I’m going to look at 2001 Nissan Frontier with the nismo package. It is a private seller. Automatic. 140k miles. Asking $6k.
my question is what are the tell tale thing a to look at and ask on these truck at this mile range and in general? The truck is being sold on central Florida so I’m not expecting any frame rot or anything, but of course I’ll check that.

Have it checked out by an independent mechanic before purchase. Make a decision based on facts. After all, it is a 21 year old vehicle.
Ok gotcha. I’ll try and get it inspected for sure, is there anything these trucks have chronic issues with?
Florida just had a hurricane run through there a month or so ago, inspect for signs of potential flood damage. Things like dirt in a fuse box, goofy electronic glitches, etc.
