Hello Scotty, 2009 Corolla 1.8L . Is it normal to have air pressure at oil fill cap when engine is running? I changed the head gasket, engine runs well. Passed smog. Compression is good now. Can I ignore it? PS: I put a new PCV valve, there doesn’t seem to be air pressure at the oil dipstick… I plugged the PCV hose inlet to intake manifold, and there didn’t seem to be pressure coming from the PCV outlet. Thanks so much.

Yes, you're always going to have some pressure with the cab taken off their sealed systems. Never run them with the cap off. It can even make your trip codes for your check engine light if you do that for a long time
