I just installed a new blower motor on my friends 2007 mercury mountaineer. A few days later they called and say that the air now only comes out of the defrost vents. I can't figure out what's wrong.
When I press the climate buttons to change to vent all I hear is a click from behind the glovebox.

Mode door actuator is most likely skipping in the heater box.. did you remove or loosen any of them to do the job
All I took off was the vaccum reservoir
