Hello, my name is Wilfredo. I had a car accident a few weeks ago and the airbags were activated. My question is can I buy airbags that are not new but have never been exploded ?

If you do an internet search on "used airbags" you'll find a number of sellers, for example:

(I'm pretty surprised anyone would sell those given the potential liability.)
I wonder how many of those are defective recalled Takata airbags that were pulled out of vehicles.
I was wondering that myself. Possibly there's a manufacturing date on the airbag that can be used to weed those out.
I'd be willing to bet most are Takata take offs. Scary to think people may wind up reinstalling those things and thinking they are safe.
