I have a 2010 mazda 5 with 150k miles and whenever I lock the car, it starts beeping for no reason after 10 mins to an hour. I've been leaving my car unlocked so I don't disturb the neighbours. I want to remove the alarm fuse for the car, but the one I think it is, isn't even in my fuse box. Any help?
Is it a factory or aftermarket alarm?
its factory
Until you can find a better solution you could disconnect the horn(s).
I have, and i just wanna disable the whole thing. i just cant find the fuse for the alarm system
I doubt there is a switch or fuse just for that. Have you contacted the dealer to solve the issue rather than disabling the system?
its my junk car, i just want it to not yell at me for no reason. i don't wanna be spending time on this car

Be that as may, it’s a relatively modern vehicle with a computer controlled alarm system. If you want to diagnose/disable it, you’ll need to find somebody (if not the dealer) who has a dealer level scan tool capable of 1. Diagnosing what’s going on and 2. Capable of reprogramming the alarm/immobiliser correctly so that your car starts normally.
i really dont wanna pay 100 dollars for a diagnosing fee from the dealer, since my normal mechanic cant find the problem. if I can just rip out the system id do it, cuz this is just a beater

it wouldn't be a very effective alarm system if you could just disable it by pulling a fuse
yesh well its not like its being an effective one right now lol
