So I just got a wheel alignment and I noticed that when I go over bumps sometimes it's still kind of sways to the left a little. Do you think they just did a bad job or could this be something different?
Clarification: How much is “a little”?
It use to turn a lot over certain bumps now it's a lot less but it goes over very slightly. So if before it was like 90% now it's about 10%

you could have a failed strut
Would he be able to push down on the hood or trunk and get it to bouncing on the bad side?
maybe. Sometimes it's not obvious. He could check for leaks though.

Sounds like a "Bad Job" to me. Take it back and tell them they did it wrong or find a shop with real alignment professionals with the latest laser alignment equipment.
