Hi
first I want to say sorry if I entered this post in wrong location first time around.
I need to replace the alternator on my Toyota auris 2015 ,1.2T
ENGINE IS 8NR FTS
problem is the intercooler for turbo is mounted above the alternator
would like to know do I have to remove it or is there another way to get at alternator
Loads of info available on older auris/ corolla very little info on this particular engine type

Now you would have to remove it to get enough room

Thanks Scotty for reply can i ask do i need to drain coolant to remove intercooler
or any other usefull pointers that might help with this job
