Hey scotty, im looking into getting my first car and I have my eye set on a 2008 honda civic si coupe (fg2) standard transmission with 128,000 miles on it clean title.The guy is asking for 6k and the car drives great. My only concern is that it has an injen cold air intake, he says that the ecu was tuned to taks the intake properly and there is no check engine light. Should I shoot for it or go somewhere else to try to avoid any issues it may create

Offer $5000, then if you really love it and a mechanic says it is ok, buy it.

sounds fair to me, i have a '13 with 60k miles, lots of fun, averaging 28 mpg
have it checked out, probably move fast at $6000, with all the new printed money floating around lol
the si has become popular recently
