Am looking to buy a manual car either a Honda Civic or a Acura both are manuals any pointers on which is better and lasts longer ?
New or used?
It depends on the model year. Both are Honda products and generally are good but you should avoid models that have issues.
a Acura
What Acura?
Honda Civic or a Acura
You'll have to be more specific.
Do you mean the 11th gen Civic upcoming Acura Integra?
In that case neither, as far as I remember, all manuals have a 1.5T that was boosted even more, to 200 horses.
That's too much for a 1.5T, they already had severe issues with it at just 180 horses.

If you wan't a reliable manual car -
Toyota offers a manual on the DynamicForce 2.0L engine with a manual on the Corolla.
Yes, it is not as bulletproof as the good old 1.8L, but it's still a solid engine.

The 2023 Civic Hatchback Sport trim regardless of manual or cvt comes with a 2.0L naturally aspired engine.

Go with the new Civic if you meant new. I find the interior to be much more roomy than the Corolla
