I have a 1992 Toyota pickup. I have always ran the green anti-freeze and flushed the rad every year. I would like to extend my service intervals. Would it be okay to run the HOAT anti-freeze and flush every 5 years? :silly:

The green Prestone antifreeze that I've been using is rated for 5 years or 100,000 miles. It's suppose to be compatible with all vehicles. I don't know if the other colored antifreeze is any better.
As @mountainmanjoe said, yes it is okay.
An old corolla I was working on for a friend, a 99', somebody had put the green in it, and I didn't know how long ago.
I fully flushed that stuff out and went zerek red, aka toyota super long life HOAT. It has been running great for months.
I would suggest you fully flush it out with water first.
