I have a 2015 Brown Kia Soul with an automatic transmission and has 125,500 miles. Is there any difference between putting synthetic oil that claims to have extended high mileage than the other one that don't have the extended one? I use mobil 1 5w-20 for some reason it works with the mobil 1 brand than the other brands

You can't tell just from the label on the bottle. They can claim whatever they want on there.

You would have to send the oil to a lab to get analyzed.

Project Farm did some tests: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFjDCKZESZo

Very nice, I love project farm for doing comparisons. Looks like high mileage is a bit better for older cars.

The findings really surprised me.

technically , the oil scored better on some non real-world tests. IMO, It was not proven that this translates into "the oil has measurable and practical benefits when used in old cars"

I really don't buy that high mileage oil crap. Regular synthetic is perfectly fine
