My van:
2011 Honda
Odyssey EX-L
136,000 miles
I'm replacing the front lower control arms on my van shortly, should I replace any other parts as long as I'm under there?
That depends on the condition of your suspension. You need to inspect it.
bushings, balljoints, bearings, CV axles, shocks, etc.
Well, if I was changing the timing belt, I would likely replace the water pump, right? But I can't see anything wrong with it and I would still do it. So, again, what other parts might I want to replace since they are convenient to replace on this vehicle?
Again, I wouldn't change anything that didn't need it. All the things I mentioned can easily be checked for wear.
And unless I was saving a half day work or something, I would probably leave a water pump that was still working too.
Got it, thanks
