Are the new Mazda CX-70s and CX-90s ill-advised to get next Summer since they're being built in Huntsville, Alabama and not Japan?
I don't understand putting a plant in one of the poorest areas of America. You can be pretty certain that the employees there will cut corners, be lazy, not care, want to get off the clock, take breaks, complain, talk a lot while working, not be paying attention at all times, be apathetic.
Whereas in Japan, the employees would be all about precision from the moment they punch in to the moment they stay overtime with or without pay to get the job done with pride on each and every vehicle they've created tirelessly, like Ultraman.
Smells like troll in here
@MMJ Reminds me of the three moles crawling through their mole tunnel. The first mole spoke up and said, hey guys... I think I smell jam. The second mole said, I think I smell honey. The third mole just kept trudging along and murmured, not me... all I can smell is molasses. 😕
😆
talk a lot while working
I sure hope the factory isn’t filled with employees giving each other the silent treatment..
Honestly, only time will tell if they hold up as good as the Japanese CBUs.
It’s a plant shared by a Toyota TMK. And Toyota has a decent track record of American made vehicles.
The same "plant" that produces the Tacomas that Scotty just said are having problems.
I believe that plant is in Mexico. The one shared with Mazda is in America.
NO! Not because of the build quality - I'm sure the fit and finish will be just fine,
It's the design, a brand new 6 cylinder with a 48V hybrid OR a turbo 4 cylinder with a PHEV?
Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen - I'd wait 5, 6 maybe even 10 years before considering one.
I just don't understand all the concerns around this topic. I see such questions so much here and on other forums. Toyota and Honda have been manufacturing cars in the U.S. and Canada for a while now and what matters is that it's Toyota or Honda quality. Will you not buy an iPhone or any other product just because it's manufactured somewhere else and not in the U.S.?! You still do because it's for example still Apple quality and that's what matters. It's the exact same concept with these cars.
