I have 1989 Dodge Dakota with front seal area seep after shutdown. 3.9v6 Can this polymers additive, might help w/0 replacing by R&R. Love the heart you perform, with here

I don't see why not. Try it out and hope it works! Of course the best solution would be to replace the worn seal, but that takes a lot of work and a lot of times AT-205 can do the trick. It t works by swelling up the worn seals to stop the leak. But if you use it, make sure to also use it on every oil change after this because the seals may shrink back and it will start leaking more.
