It is very reliable that you WILL wish Audi wasn't a car company if you own this vehicle for any length of time.

They definitely are not reliable.

If you are a seasoned Audi master mechanic and know intimately how these vehicles work and do all your own work and can get the parts at wholesale prices, that’s one thing.  But for the rest of us I recommend to run away esp. at that age and out of warranty.  Let it be someone else’s problem.

Like others said, not the most reliable 2 seaters. 14 years old complex electronics + probably driven hard by previous owner(s) since it's quite sporty = not a reliable option.

However, if you want a weekend car, mileage is not too high and it's a manual, you could gamble on it but prepare extra cash in case. Expect that the electronics will break way before the 2.0 engine does.
