1993 Toyota Camry 200,000 miles automatic. When I turn it off with the headlights on and exit through the driver side sometimes the headlights shutoff automatically and sometimes they don't.

Well they were originally made to shut themselves off when you leave but that's a complex system just make sure you turn them off manually I wouldn't get involved in that on an old car like that some of those parts Toyota doesn't even make anymore
