I have a 2018 Buick Lacrosse with 25,000 miles and the AUTO STOP feature, but they didn't put the turn-off button in the car until 2019 model. Can you tell me, in detail, how to deactivate (rewire) the feature? Thanks

Great article from Dion. There must be a way to jumper wire the hood system. If not, you can find auto start/stop devices that plug into the OBD port that will do the same thing all over the internet.
