That’s right. 30mm nut which requires a 30mm socket. Not whatever you said.
Thanks guys, in the end decided to jack up the car, remove the wheel on the side I'll be working and take a look. Is a 30mm, I have this size socket but it won't go completely over so ordered a deep impact socket for $11. Will be changing the front right axle so making sure I have everything to proceed, nothing worse than hitting a stumbling block before you even get started!
