Our 2011 Ford Edge keeps blowing the ignition coil on the second cylinder and we were told that it is probably our PCM ( car’s computer) has gone bad and that is why we are blowing out ignition coil. We are considering sending our PCM into have refurbished and they are saying that we should replace all the spark plugs and ignition coils with our newly refurbished PCM. Does this sound accurate?

Yes I would replace all four and I also would check the wiring from the computer to the coils
