What would cause an OEM dealer ball joint to complete wear out after 12 months and 8,000 miles.

- not having any grease inside
- not being tightened down properly
- very worn out loose steering
- an impact
Would just a pothole cause that? I don’t remember hitting anything significant.
it would have to be a pretty big one
Ok so probably like a pop the tire and bend the rim big one. It’s my grandmas car, she doesn’t remember hitting anything. I think the dealership just took her for a ride.
