2003 S10 Blazer battery drain .After all goes to sleep I measure .22 Amps drain when I remove TBC fuse it drops to zero then after a minute I can replace the fuse and it stays at zero until I turn the key back on.Am wondering if it is the ingnition switchThanks 142000 miles
If it's the ignition switch you would know because the stereo would stay on indefinitely.
A wiring diagram can help troubleshoot that.
I believe the TBC circuit feeds the Body Control Module (BCM), which controls things like interior lights, windows, locks, retained accessory power etc.
Make sure there's nothing keeping the module awake like faulty door switches, aftermarket stereos, alarm systems etc.
The BCM itself might be faulty.
I guess in the worst case you could put a relay in line with the TBC fuse that shuts off when ignition power is de-energized.
How do I check it and would it BCM have to be programed also tell me how to put a relay in ,thanks
check your alternator
Alternator is good and everything I check is good
how long should it take for computers to shut everything down
