Hi Scotty,
I have a 2002 Chevy trailblazer with 200,000 miles . And every time when I go out of town is thing like my battery is draining. I do have other accessories on there like aftermarket car alarm and 1500 amp and one kicker speaker.
I just changed the alternator and the battery like six months ago. Can someone explain to me why is this keep happening ?
thanks

The explanation is that you have a parasitic drain. It is probably, but not necessarily, in the aftermarket electronics.

I'm with Chuck.
Next time, pull the fuses on your accessories and see if that fixes the problem. The alarm may be more tricky to de-energize.
