Belt or pulley squeak

Hi Scotty, I have a 2008 Dodge Nitro 3.7 Automatic 2wd with 150k+ miles. The serpentine belt or something driven by the belt is squeaking. The squeak stops when I turn the AC off. Is it the compressor, belt or weak tensioner pulley making the belt loose. What do you think. Thanks

The AC compressor puts a load on the entire belt system. Check all pulleys and belt-driven accessories for wear, as well as the belt itself.

So there's no squeaking unless the AC compressor is engaged? Sounds like the AC clutch/compressor is shot. If the serpentine belt is tight then have a pal engage and disengage the AC while you're watching the AC compressor.
