Hi everyone, first of all I am nothing to promote here just looking for some honest advice. I recently bought a new car and I really want it to smell fresh all the time. I know there are so many types of car air fresheners and honestly I am confuse which one is actually good and lasts long.

I did some research on reddit car forums, Quora answers, and also read a few blogs on NewYorkTimes, CarAndDriver, and AutoTrader. There are so many options like hanging trees, vent clips, sprays, gel types, and even electric diffusers. Each one people say is best but I don’t know which is right for me.

So far I found a few options with good reviews on Amazon:

LITTLE TREES Black Ice Car Air Freshener (24-Pack)

Ozium 4.5 Oz. Odor Eliminating Gel for Homes, Cars, Offices, and More

Some people say Febreze is easy and smells good, Little Trees are classic and long-lasting, Yankee Candle gives strong scent, and PURGGO is natural and lasts really long.

I just want to ask from people who already using them, which one is actually best for everyday use and not too strong or too weak? Or maybe there is another one I should check out?

Personally my fave is Little Trees Black Ice

They have many nice smells and they last pretty long (plus they're cheap and usually come in 2 packs)

Frebreeze could work but it might not last forever unless you spray 3-5 squirts everyday.

So I'd recommend a permanent Little Tree (they're so fashionable! ❤️ 🌲) and maybe a Frebreezing every 3-5 days.  A wipe down with scents weekly could help, based on what material your interior is.  (Get leather safe if you have that. )

Ultimately it comes down to user preference.  Most things shouldn't be too expensive. You can get those little scent buttons that click into your AC vents too, and refillable ones that hang from the interior handles.

You're gonna have the best smelling car on the block.

💪 😎

*Oops ya already knew about the different types.  I can't read cause I'm pulling an all nighter lol

Personally, I find them all to put out an annoying stench. I can't stand. Realize that many of those things are actually actually cancer causing. I use a carbon activated cabin air filter myself

@scottykilmer Cancer causing? 🥺☠️ Not my poor Little Trees (the cause as to why I won't live to 30)

Additionally, only if you want to.

I would recommend you buy 5+ cheap brands to try out and regift the ones you like the least.  (Unless you financially don't want to. )

If you're willing, (and are on YouTube), definitely think of making a review video for the 5+ brands.  (Get more stuff and you can extent it). People love reviews and tier lists and it would give you something to do while you're selecting the best if you get a bunch.

If you enjoy it,  make a week after about which stayed the strongest. A and a month after.

Start with shorts (you can use real songs you know if you do it through the Shorts Music button).

12PM is great to upload

4PM-5PM Is usually best.

10PM-12AM is dead unless you're Scotty! 🌟

I know you didn't ask for this part, but it would be useful and neat if you really do end up getting a bunch of stuff in your car perfuming endeavors.
