Hi Scotty,
i have read and watch a lot of videos about diesel truck, also had owned a couple, and my conclusion is that Cummins is one of the best engines out there (non counting the 5.0 on the Nissan that lack of power). Also I had concluded that Ram gearboxes are no the best ones either, no considering the Ram interior that will break sooner that later, what is your opinion about the Ram 2500 , 6.7 Cummins with the g56 gear box (6 speed manual) that was available until 2018 ?
thanks
Virgil.

Yeah I like those older ones they were much better made
It’s a deadly combination, those 6.7 Cummins are workhorses and will go and go and go. Anyone who has bought heavy duty Rams in the past knows you buy the Ram for the Cummins and just replace the crap with quality aftermarket that’s wrapped around it when it goes out. Multiple 6.7 Cummins trucks here in the state I live in with over 400k mi and begging for more.
