I was just wondering what works best to prevent rust on hand tools?
I have hears of guys using WD-40, Waxes, Motor Oil, and Mineral Oil.
I’ve got a can of Fluid Film that I use to undercoat my lawnmower deck and it works well for that, but worried it might swell the rubber handles on my tools.
Thanks,
BJ

Wipe them down with a paper towel wetted with WD40. It displaces water.

I use Balistol on my tools and firearms and it does great!
